God never asked you to TRUST people. He asked you to LOVE them and TRUST HIM.

Trust is fragile and if it is ever broken, it’s hard to repair. It CAN be repaired, but it will never be the same. Even the ones that you think ‘nah they would never do me that’ will do just that.

I want to think we all have one person who hurt us so much that it changed us forever. Disappointed but not surprised. Trust becomes complicated between family members, friends, and even spouses when someone feels unappreciated and disrespected.

What did Jesus teach us about L♥️VE?

Luke 6:27-28, 31-33, 35

“But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you. And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them.

“If you love those who love you, what benefit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them.

And if you do good to those who do good to you, what benefit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.

But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil.”

God says, “Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.”

“I trust in you, my God. Please do not let me be ashamed. Do not let my enemies laugh at me, because they are stronger than me. Surely nobody who trusts in you will become ashamed. No! It is those who like to deceive others who will become ashamed.”
