MONDAY MORNING LETTER TO SELF✍🏾

Dear Self,

Stop fretting. Stop worrying. Overthinking leads to bad decision making. I know you didn’t forget who God is. “No weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the Lord; their vindication will come from me. I, the Lord, have spoken!’ (Isaiah 54:17 NLT).

Stand up for what you think is right – even if you are the only one standing. “When you see trouble coming, don’t be stupid and walk right into it— be smart and hide.”

Life is about winning and losing. Complain less. Work harder. Enjoy a good life. “A good reputation and respect are worth much more than silver and gold.”

The smarter you are, the more selective you become. “Two men may argue with each other. The first man will seem right until the second man speaks.”

Be mature enough to know sometimes silence is more powerful than having the last word. “A fool finds no pleasure in wisdom, but he likes to show his own thoughts and ideas.”

A child left up to themselves will bring shame to their mother. “Teach your children right from wrong, and when they are grown they will still do right.”

Not because you hit rock bottom doesn’t mean you can’t get back up. Taking care of yourself should be your top priority. “I’ve commanded you to be strong and brave. Don’t ever be afraid or discouraged! I am the Lord your God, and I will be there to help you wherever you go.”

Prayer Time: Father, give us eyes to see the bright future you have planned for us. Give us ears to hear words of wisdom. Give us lips to speak words of daily affirmation. And give us the heart of a lion to face our biggest fear. In Jesus Name, Amen.
