Conversations with JUNE DOYLE

Are you hanging on by a thread?

In Ecclesiastes 4:12, the Bible tells us that “though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”

This type of braiding a cord makes it very difficult to break. It doesn’t mean it can’t be broken … it just means it’s harder to do. We need each other to do life. I need you just as much as you need me. We were created for relationships. This includes relationship with God and with others. Being alone was never God’s plan for us.

Love is contagious. Love God and love others
and watch how the thread you are hanging on to turn into a braided rope. It’s normal to feel lonely at times, but it is amazing how your courage and boldness can increase when you are not standing by yourself.

Remember, we were never created to be alone. When you are tired you will appreciate those around you helping you to make it.

Nightmares cannot whisper away things that God has spoken to you in the day time.

Can I tell you one of my pet peeves? People who have too much pride to make friends. Remember we can do much more together. The beauty of a three-strand cord is that it makes you stronger.

God knew this from the beginning of times. Find friends who will build your faith and you can build theirs. Pray that God will bring the right people into your life.

May God give us faith building friends to do this life with. We need friends who will walk and pray with us through the hard places in life, and who will celebrate the good things in life.

If your friends aren’t approved by God then they shouldn’t be approved by you. God will back you up if two of you agree on earth concerning anything, it will be done for them by our Father in heaven.

  1. Happy to have you to walk side by side with me on this journey, called life. Thank you for being a friend, a pal and a confidante. Thank GOD that HE made us sisters. Sisters by birth. Friends by choice.
