The mind can bully the heart by telling it what to do. If the mind is troubled then the heart becomes scared like the cowardly lion in the ‘Wizard of Oz.’
We need our brain, heart, and the courage to push past our deepest fear. The mind always gives up easier than the heart.
Have you ever tried all the keys on a ring to unlock a door, and just like that the last key you tried – did it.
Life comes with many keys and if you don’t give up, the last key can be your comeback story. You can boldly say, “I’m coming out.’
Matthew 16:19 “And that’s not all. You will have complete and free access to God’s kingdom, keys to open any and every door: no more barriers between heaven and earth, earth and heaven. A yes on earth is yes in heaven. A no on earth is no in heaven.”
Part of adulting is learning how to travel light. Some memories need a divorce ceremony. You have the key.
Some bags need to unpack and just leave some stuff behind. You have the key. People bring out different sides of you, therefore, keep those who bring out the best of you. You have the key now, you choose when to open and when to lock.
Tell yourself, ‘I’m coming out better than I was before.’ God is helping you to win against all odds. You are fighting not only for today but for your future.
Live your life in such a way that as soon as God says, ‘Let’s go’ you wouldn’t be found fumbling around.
The Bible says, ‘You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!’
You have the choice of focusing on your troubles or focusing on the One who holds the answers. If you look around, you will be depressed. If you look at God, you will be at rest.
What a beautiful feeling to stand firm in faith in spite of your circumstances. Let’s make this our prayer: “Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders. Let me walk upon the waters wherever You would call me. Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander, and my faith will be made stronger in the presence of my Saviour.”
My loved ones, life does get rough for all of us, but God keeps our head above the waters. I close with this verse, “Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,”
Jude 1:24
HE is able, more than able! Praise GOD!
