You think, speak, and live differently when you know God has placed you in this world just where He wants you to be.
The Psalmist David said, ‘My times are in thy hand.’
The country you are living in, the times you are living in, are all strategically planned by God. None of it is a mistake.
Regardless of where in the world you live, your heart will fail you for fear. Poverty, disaster, sickness, rumours of war, and injustice are everywhere.
No one escapes the feeling that their country is sinking. In Mark 4:38 Jesus disciples called out to Him in fear that their ship was sinking while Jesus was comfortably asleep. They cried “Teacher, we will die here in the water! Please do something!’
Can I reassure you that Jesus is The King of Peace? The Bible says, “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
Jesus rules over the whole earth. He is a wonderful Counselor. He is the Everlasting Father. He is the Mighty God. He is the Prince of Peace. And the government is on His shoulders.
Our times are in God’s hand.
Sometimes we find ourselves hiding away from the madness around us like a child who’s afraid of the dark, but when we call on Jesus, the noise is silenced.
Poverty and unrest is everywhere. We live in a godless world not a country. It’s the world that’s godless.
Rich and poor people need to anchor their life in Jesus. Your anchor should be strong enough to silence the warfare around you.
Your life is in God’s hand. Where can you run and God isn’t there? He is the Mighty God, the Prince of Peace, the Wonderful Counselor, Everlasting Father, and the government is on His shoulders.
Anytime you feel overly anxious, you can be sure the enemy is at work.
May God grant us the serenity to accept the things we cannot change. The courage to change the things we can. And the wisdom to know the difference.
Prayer Time: Father, in your strength we can crush anxiety. In Jesus Name. Amen
The Prince of Peace. Thank you, LORD.
