Tuesday Morning Conversation with June Doyle

If you’re repeatedly working from early morning to late night, you will suffer from burn out becoming easily agitated, anxious, avoiding humans, and depressed.

Stress leaves everyone emotionally and physically drained. Satan’s most common tactics are to keep you handcuffed to your job and too busy to spend quality time with your family and friends.

It should be of no surprise that God did not design our bodies to function like that because He Himself rested on the 7th day. Rest and enjoying family’s mealtimes are important to living a balanced lifestyle.

Take your family to the beach. Hang out with your friends at the lake and eat that cookie and cream dessert. Go on a road trip. Have clean fun. Laugh loud. Eat at your favourite restaurant. Dip in the pool, then make sure you get rest.

Life goes by quickly and who will inherit and enjoy those things you have deprived yourself of. Start somewhere. Just start. To live better, you’ve got to get better at doing what’s right.

Many sick people just need to eat well, spend quality time with family and friends, and get lots of rest. You can heal yourself.

“Then Naaman went down and dipped seven times in the Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God; and his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.”
‭‭II Kings‬ ‭5‬:‭9‬-‭11‬, ‭14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

  1. Good advice! Life really does go by quickly.

“Only one life, ‘twill soon be past. Only what’s done for CHRIST will last.”
