Emotional Healing

Emotional healing is recovering from emotional hurt, betrayal, abandonment, rejection, and pain. Healing from anything takes time.

Some days you feel strong, other days there are those triggers that make the wheels in our heads feel stuck. It’s a journey with no specific arrival time.

You have to sit on the faith train and convince your mind to let things go as you pass certain stops.
Why? Until you heal the wounded parts of you, you will keep fixing them with things that are more harmful to your growth.

This is your year to be healed emotionally and nobody is coming to do it for you. This is going to be your personal assignment.

At the end of 2023 there will be no more blaming people or the past for what happened to you. You are not stuck. Just decide you are not going to stay where you are.

Emotional healing starts with the person in the mirror and not the person who makes you feel bitter and angry. You cannot control anyone but yourself and the way you choose to respond.

Start with yourself and work with yourself. Complaining is hard work and it’s draining. Complaining years are over.

You will become like the people you spend the most time with. You don’t need sympathy. You need to surround yourself with people who teaches you how to choose your battles wisely.

Finally, prayer works best for emotional healing. Vent safely in your quiet place in your home. Be honest and real with God. You can’t surprise Him with your thoughts or feelings. You will know when you are ready to let go and move on.

Look for a Psalm that expresses your feelings and make it your personal prayer. Your blessing is guaranteed as you walk in obedience.

Prayer Time: Father, give us strength for today that’s all we need. We will not worry about tomorrow because tomorrow is in your hand. We keep our eyes on you. In Jesus Name, Amen.

We are not meant to stay wounded. Jesus does heal the broken-hearted.
