God created us in HIS likeness. We are His look-a-like but stuff happened and the image got lost in the crossfire.
We have survival stories that changed our lives and thinking. We discovered through the School of Hard Knocks that everybody isn’t your friend. The marriage vows ‘for better or worse, in good times and in bad times until death do us part’ were just for a dress rehearsal and not for real life.
Children will come along and that will be a game-changer that will make the strongest person feels like a whimp. Sharing good news can be a bit nerve racking because everybody isn’t genuinely happy or interested about your life.
“All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players.” William Shakespeare
But thank God we were built differently. God, the All Powerful One can re-align us back to His image. He can’t do the re-alignment if we want to run our own life, but if we become still long enough, He will take the ashes and make a beautiful image of Himself.
God’s love reaches everyone in the world even those who don’t know Him yet. Today’s scars are tomorrow’s stars. Today’s mess is tomorrow’s message.
“Listen! The Lord’s hand is not too weak to save you. His ear is not too deaf to hear you. But the wrong things that you have done have made you separate from your God. Your sins have caused him to turn away from you, so that he does not listen to your prayers.”
Isaiah 59:1-2 EASY
