ADULTING is not for the faint of heart. It’s the stage in life where you have to make it without breaking it. You have to figure out everything on your own knowing that change is painful. You take care of others while ignoring your own needs. You avoid difficult conversations because you feel like your needs don’t really matter. You have to make ends meet even if East cannot meet West. ADULTING isn’t for the faint of heart.

PARENTING on the other hand sometimes feels like a booby trap. From birth to the grave, one thing never changes is watching your children go through something painful and you cannot fix it. Even when your children are fully capable, you still try to make things easier for them. A child can openly express their love or hatred for a parent and it’s easily overlooked. On the other hand, parents have to love unconditionally the stubborn and rebellious child, the other child who’s very needy and the other one who is highly motivated and goal oriented. PARENTING sometimes feels like a booby trap.

MARRIAGE is never a lack of love. It’s two grown adults coming together with unhealed parts that will sometimes unintentionally hurt each other. Marriage is not a movie. It’s real life’s experiences that sometimes takes the wind out of you. Marriage is fragile and must be handled with care. Someone said, “Effort never dies” and I want to think they were talking about marriage. Effort is a good way to show that your relationship is worth fighting for. MARRIAGE is two unhealed persons who cares for each other and go to work on the best way to make it work.

REALITY: It took God six days to create everything we see in the world including humans. God can turn around any moment in your life just by a spoken word. The more you get to know God, the greater chance you have living your best life.

He is a Father to the fatherless, defender of widows, and places the lonely in families. He provides for the needy people. Prayer is the bridge between panicking and perfect peace in this life.
