Be Good To Yourself!

Most of us do not live on a private island, although I think I like the idea.

Living and working with others have its sets of dos and don’ts – and unfortunately it’s not always written, but definitely learnt by experience.

Here is my list:

It’s common courtesy to hold the door for the person behind you.

You could have at least reply to the invitation instead of saying, ‘Maybe’

When you feel the urge to give unsolicited advice, stop and keep the comments to yourself.

Don’t be fake. Social Media is a great example of …. everything that glitters is not gold.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

Don’t overshare or overreact your sadness. It can be depressing for others who are dealing with bigger problems.

Maintain a healthy balance in life. Live. Laugh. Love.

Fight back the urge to knowit-all when commenting on other people’s stories.

Be picky/selective with who you follow online. Every friend’s request doesn’t need a positive response.

What you put online is permanent, one day your children and grandchildren will be looking at it.

What happens in the privacy of your bedroom stays there.

Thinking of leaving a positive legacy…one in which you will be proud….start now.

Whatsoever things are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of a good report; if there be any virtue, if there be any praise… think on these things.

As through this world you travel…Five things observe with care: to whom you speak, of whom you speak, and how and why and when.

Use things and not people.

Get up. Dress up. Show up. Never give up.

  1. Thank you Jesus for allowing and using this your Beloved Child to build us up in the Faith. May You continue to Bless her and her family as they choose to serve in your Kingdom.
    Stay Blessed.
