AUGUST 9 GROWN UP CONVERSATIONS with JUNE DOYLE

“Watch those Pit Stops”

It is with confidence that I say that God uses the pit stops experiences in our life to bring about the dream He has put in our heart. The pit stops are not destinations – they are where we refuel, refocus, and recharge.

Pit stops are where you make the best out of the worst. They are where you see things that startle you but you know you must be courageous. You may feel things you never felt before, but life is too short for excuses.

Quote: “If your dreams don’t scare you, they aren’t big enough.”

God stretches us outside our comfort zone to force us to rise to the next level.

Joseph was one of 12 brothers. His dreams made his older brothers jealous, angry and bitter. He didn’t allow the behaviour of his brothers to scare him or stop him from seeing his dreams come true.

When God gives dreams, they can make others uncomfortable. Many times the dreamers themselves wouldn’t even fully understand the full magnitude of their dreams, but they know if they don’t go after what they want, they will never have it.

Not everyone is happy for dreamers. But when God gives a dream, He has already worked out all the details. Do not force anything. Anything forced is not worth fighting for.

👉🏾 NO ONE CAN COPY YOUR GOD-GIVEN DREAM! NO ONE CAN BLOCK IT! NO ONE CAN DISMANTLE IT! NO ONE IS YOU!!! 👈🏾

Every detour, every disappointment, every failure, is part of the same ‘pit stops’ that Joseph faced with his brothers. Go easy on yourself. That dream was placed in your heart for a reason.

Be grateful for the ‘pit stops’ and remain excited about where you are going. Not everyone will understand or approve your journey. It’s okay. Be your best friend.

In closing: Dreamers always encounter challenges, failures and setbacks, but don’t let what’s happening around you get inside of you and weigh you down.

All dreams come true, if you have the courage to pursue them. Only you can turn your dreams into reality. Show up everyday and do the work. If not, you will make excuses.
