Crossroads

The meaning of crossroads is an intersection of two or more roads. It’s a point at which a crucial decision must be made that will have far-reaching consequences.

Sometimes life puts us into some tough situations. We get wounded and sooner than later we find ourselves at crossroads. In times like these – it’s important to stay calm and stay positive. It’s encouraging to remind ourselves that soon the storm will pass.

But, there are some people in our circle that are extremely vulnerable when they are at crossroads. They are the ones who don’t fully understand their weaknesses and cannot accurately address their emotions. Their actions and behavior gets lost in translation.

It’s no fun being at crossroads…we all have been there before, and it was very exhausting and scary. We looked north, south, east and west …. and still didn’t know which way to go.

Anyone who is at a crossroad in life is afraid, confused, and few have their roadmaps handy.

According to the dictionary a roadmap is a detailed plan to guide progress towards a goal.

So whenever we find ourselves at crossroads it’s wisdom to always have a roadmap in hand. Have a plan, work the plan and finish with pride.

The choices we make at the intersection of our life determines how we will live the rest of our lives. Choose well. Finish strong. No one can tell our story like we ourselves…so chin up…adjust your crown and get to your destination.

Never let anyone feel alone when you are there. Reach back, lend your hand and remember that there are no shortcuts … so stay patient with each other and never give up.

Difficult roads lead to beautiful destinations….someone once said. If it is important, you will find a way.
