Where Is Your God?

Anxiety, Fear, Worry, Sadness, Panic attacks are human emotions that create doubt about God’s capabilities when we are on the verge of a crisis. It’s important not to lose heart and become discouraged to give our cloud of witnesses a reason to ask us,”Where is your God?”

We diminish our faith in God when we allow these emotions to interrupt our daily lives. It’s not an easy decision to resist fear, anxiety, worry, sadness and panic … but with no resistance they can become an unbreakable habit.

Get ready to take up the challenge to resist and desist the onslaught of the enemy whenever these emotions step into our lives.

Don’t back down on the challenge to stand firm on God’s promises in the midst of life’s uncertainties. Accept the challenge and bit by bit you will win and your cloud of witnesses will be asking you “Can I know how you do it?”

No one will overcome anything without a fight. No fight, no glory. You can’t stop the emotions from resurfacing but you can refuse to accept them by relying totally on God’s Word. You never know God is all you need until you know God is all you have.

Someone once said, “The hardest part of being a parent is watching a child go through something really tough and not being able to fix it for them.” This is the truest, realest quote as a parent. God watches us His children becoming unstable and frazzled by our circumstances and He wonders when or if we will turn to Him for help. When God shows up, He shows off.

The devil loves a performance so don’t make him the star of your life by delaying turning to God for help.

As believers in Jesus Christ the best years of our lives are now… not yesterday, not next year. It’s now! Our responsibility is to keep our heart right before God and choose to believe His Word, nothing wavering. Let no one ask us ‘Where is your God?’ Let them ask us “How do you do it?” We will stand firm and be at peace and let God show up and show off His mighty acts.

Father God,

It’s Monday morning and we don’t know what the day or the week may bring into our lives but we are confident that there’s nothing that will happen to us that you and each one of us cannot handle. We rest in the ALL knowing and the ALL wise God. The author and the finisher of our faith. We choose to allow you to order our steps and go with us on our journey. We wait on you and you will give us the strength to face everything that may come against us. We will rise and shine today because today is going to be a good day. Thank you Jesus that we can watch the chaos in the eye and give it a wink.
