Life doesn’t get better by chance. It gets better by change. Out with the old. In with the new you.

It’s a full time job taking care of yourself but it’s going to be worth it. To move forward you must prepare to leave some things behind. Anything or anyone you lose in the process of self-improvement was never meant to stay.

Stop overreacting to people’s behaviour. Respect your feelings and stop being overly dramatic about issues outside of your control. It’s a full time job just taking care of your mental and emotional health.

Stop laughing at anything that’s hurting and rubbing you wrong. Discreetly set up boundaries where you decide what is allowed and what isn’t allowed in your life. Make a commitment to be nicer to yourself.

You don’t need to have a million friends. Just a handful that makes you feel like you’re not alone and more like teammates. Build dreams and not egos.

Don’t let loyalty keep you sitting at the same table where common sense should have made you give up your seat. You only live once, and there are absolutely no good reasons to live it like a caged bird.

Maybe 2022 you didn’t feel like you accomplished anything significant, tell God what you need, and thank Him for what He has done. If you keep telling the same sad story, you will keep repeating the same sad life. Take a deep breath and remember there’s someone out there right now who is taking their last breath.

Your healing is ongoing. It doesn’t have to look pretty or graceful now, but you must keep going as long as you have breath in your body.

Finally, when God gives you a new beginning it means the last thing that happened to you was the end. Stop wishing it never ended. Don’t close the book, just turn the page.
