Today’s Topic: Turning Disadvantage into Advantage

Whatever looks like a disadvantage can be turned into an advantage leaving others to wonder how you did it.

I once saw a pumpkin vine growing among thorns, rocks, garbage in no garden or pumpkin field. The vine was growing over the rocks. I’m guessing that one single pumpkin vine can grow alone among rocks, garbage, and without the loving care of gardeners.

Many people do feel very much like that single pumpkin vine. Sometimes God’s best way to bring about meaningful growth in our lives is to allow us alone time with Him.

God has been very kind to us. Because of that, we should serve Him with everything that we have and that will please him. Thinking not
like the people who belong to this world.

May God completely change the way that we think, so that we can live differently. Then you will understand what God wants you to do. You will know what is good. You will know what pleases God. You will know also know what is completely right.

Many of David’s Psalms were written in his quiet and alone time. I love spending time alone and the truth is I am never lonely.

If you want to hear what God is saying, get to a quiet place. Write down what you’re feeling and what God is saying.

Noise, chatter, and crowds stunt my growth. I thrive best when I am alone. I move past the complexities of life and start writing.

Your struggles do not own the rights to define you. Your fruitful vine will grow over the rocks while others may only remember you by your struggles.

No one can deny the fruits that you are bearing. You may be misunderstood, mocked, and laughed at by many who don’t know the ‘whys’.

How many times have you gotten a glimpse into something that just doesn’t look anywhere close to what’s happening in your present life?

Just because you can’t see the evidence doesn’t mean the ground you are standing on isn’t fertile. Not everything God gives the full details, but He never takes you where His grace cannot sustain you.

God’s currency is Faith. It takes faith to trust the process. His peace will pass your understanding of the whys and how’s. You too will grow despite the thorns, rocks, and garbage.

You can turn every disadvantage into an advantage by allowing God to order your steps. God many times writes your name on the box and ships it out in unfamiliar ways. Find the joy and peace in being alone.

God never tells you when you are going to bloom. If He did, it will diminish the currency He uses. It takes faith to trust the process.

If you stay where it is comfortable, you will not grow or bloom. Get comfortable being uncomfortable in your growth stages.

Prayer Time: Father, thank you for teaching us deep secrets when we are alone away from the noise some chatter of life. Thank you that the hardest walks always make us stronger. In Jesus Name, Amen.

If you stay where it is comfortable and amid the loud chatter of the outside world you will not grow or bloom. Get comfortable being uncomfortable in your growth stages.
